~ De-construct

In exploring identity, I created a piece that conveyed the multiple layers of self. The plexiglass sheets are placed in front of one another. Each sheet has an image of my face. When viewed from the front, these photos overlap, creating a composite image of my photos. When viewed from the side, you can see the individual sheets of glass—the multiple layers of myself. Not only does this convey the complexity of my character, but a symbol of how everyone is inherently multi-faceted.
